In July 2026 Magnus was contracted as operations and maintenance contractor for a global energy major’s solar portfolio across the Visayas and Mindanao, under two lots executed on 21 July 2026.
The scope covers 24/7 remote monitoring and alarm response, a preventive maintenance calendar running module cleaning, thermographic inspection, torque checks and inverter servicing, corrective maintenance against a regional spares stock, performance reporting on PR, availability and yield against model, and warranty management with the original equipment manufacturers. We also took over the portfolio’s spare-parts inventory, which is usually what determines whether a fault takes hours or weeks to clear.
An international energy company operating solar assets in the southern Philippines can fly crews from Manila, build its own regional presence, or contract an operator that already has one. Our crews, engineers and Cebu warehousing are what made the third option practical. The site count and capacity for these two lots are not published here pending confirmation that they may be.
